Frequently asked questions

Fall Festival 2023

Do I need to purchase a ticket? No ticket is necessary to attend Sing Me Home 2023. Walk-up attendees are welcome for this free event. No registration is needed for the majority of the day's festivities which will occur outside. Since space is limited, a RSVP is required to reserve a seat for the featured indoors evening program featuring Jordan Hamilton, Miami Nation of Indiana tribal council member Erin Oliver, and Carrie Newcomer with Gary Walters and the Gathering of Spirits String Quartet.

What should I bring? We recommend you bringing a comfy camping chair, a hat or umbrella for some shade, a refillable water bottle (there will be water coolers), layers of clothing if needed for warmth, $ for food trucks and merchandise, and an open heart to experience a bounty of goodness throughout the day.

I have limited mobility. Is Sing Me Home accessible? There will be golf cart shuttles available from the parking lot to the main outdoors listening area. Some limited seating will be provided. The evening program will be inside the Manchester Church of the Brethren which features accessible bathrooms, seating, and there will be ushers to assist with any additional needs.

When can I arrive? You are welcome to arrive as early as 10am. Music starts at 10:30am. Doors open for the evening program at 7pm.

Parking? There will be free on-site parking available. Please drive slowly upon arrival and follow the directions of our parking attendants for safe, efficient parking. Car pooling or biking is encouraged if possible!

Will there be food? Yes! Local food trucks will be on-site throughout the day and a free community meal will be served between 5:15-7:15pm featuring a lot of homegrown goodness from local farms. Bringing your own food for a picnic lunch, snacks or dinner is also welcome. There will be some chairs and tables provided but bringing your own camping chair or blanket for the day is encouraged!

How can I help? We are still welcoming volunteers and you can sign up here. There are times available Friday morning and evening on 9/29 and throughout the day on 9/30. Thank you!

Is the event child friendly? Yes! We welcome all ages to Sing Me Home and there will be music, food, and activities throughout the day that all ages should enjoy! Don't miss the afternoon programming that will feature many kid favorites including Peter "Madcat" Ruth, Joe Reilly, and a special kids' concert from the Sing Me Home Family Band!

Can I invite my friends? Yes!! That would be wonderful. Sharing the facebook event or RSVP page are great ways to spread the word. Thank you!

Will there be a livestream? There will be no official livestream for this event. Our team will be taking photos and video throughout the day and we'll plan to share some highlights of that later.

Bathroom facilities? Port-a-johns will be onsite near the main music listening areas. Bathroom facilities will also be available inside the church throughout the day.

Drugs and alcohol? This is a substance-free event. We hope to create an uplifting community experience of inspiration and connection without the influence of drugs or alcohol out of respect for our gracious hosts, the Manchester Church of the Brethren, as well as for those in recovery and those who choose to live a substance-free lifestyle.

Covid protocols? The majority of the day's activities will be outside. Currently, masks are not required inside the Manchester Church of the Brethren. We encourage you to be respectful of your neighbors and test for COVID if you are showing any symptoms.
